Licensing
Haptique OS uses licensing to activate features on your local controller. The goal is to keep local home control reliable while still allowing account management, upgrades, and transfers through the license portal.
During first setup
Section titled “During first setup”You may be asked to:
- Enter your myHOS email address and use the sign-in link sent to your inbox.
- Enter a claim code.
- Upload a license file for offline activation where supported.
- Confirm the license is active.
myHOS does not have a separate direct password login in production.
What licensing controls
Section titled “What licensing controls”One perpetual suite license activates Haptique OS and Haptique Music. One year of Remote Control is included; renewal after that year is optional. There are no Starter, Pro, or Studio tiers. Fleet Server remains free and is separate from local suite activation. See Plans for details.
Local operation
Section titled “Local operation”Once activated, licensed local control continues to work without renewing the optional Remote Control add-on. Online activation, updates, remote access, and connected services may require internet.
